"BOTH my kids had been diagnosed with cataracts. Having very frustrating experiences with other opthamologists throughout the years stating the fact but no solution, we finally were referred to Dr. Kent at The Eye Associates. From the moment we walked into a very serene office space, we were greeted by the front desk staff who were very warm and welcoming. The streamlined process for their evaluations, explanations for all they would need to expect about the process put them at ease. Dr. Kent is amazing. He has such a calming demeanor and really knew how to make two teenagers laugh. Their surgeries went beautifully and we felt like we were treated like “family” and not just patients. Because of Dr. Kent, my son can legally drive and both kids actually see real colors for the first time! "I have worn contacts for years to correct my vision for mono vision. In my later years I developed cataracts on both eyes. Dr. Kent advised when they were removed we could do the same correction. I was a little apprehensive at first. We did my right eye first which is my distance eye and following surgery I had 20/20 vision for the first time in years. I maintained my left eye vision for close up with a contact because I was a little chicken to have surgery on it so I waited about two years before having the surgery. I recently had the surgery and I cannot tell you how happy I am with the outcome. For the first time since I was a kid I am contact free. I love it! I would recommend mono vision correction to anyone having cataract surgery. Dr. Kent was very patient with me and all my silly questions. He’s the best!"

"I have had 6 eye surgeries. 3 for lasik with Hollingshead and 3 for exotropia with Eye Associates (both eyes wander to outside, so you have to keep one eye closed to see one image). For the past 10 years I have not been able to see out of both eyes at the same time. It causes a complete lack of depth perception and I constantly ran into objects on my blind side. Last Wednesday Dr. Gregory Kent did a second operation on my left eye. Previously they had loosened the muscles on the outside of my eyes. This time he shortened the muscle on the inside of my left eye. Within hours after the surgery, I could open both eyes and see clearly for the first time in 10 years. I am grateful and thankful for the training and skills of all the staff at Eye Associates. It was a super positive experience. Especially thankful for Dr. Kent!!!"
